Today, it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate, Ms. Bichano Kithan, that there is a likelihood of vacancy on 28.02.2026, and, therefore, vide this interlocutory application, the applicants are seeking extension of approximately 5 (five) months for complying Page No.# 3/4 with the order passed in the disposed of writ petition. 3. It may be mentioned herein that the applicants being Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Kohima ; The Director, Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Kohima; The DPRO, Mokokchung, have filed this instant interlocutory application seeking extension of time for implementing the order dated 07.03.2025 passed in WP(C)/6/2023, whereby this Court disposing of the writ petition had directed the applicants to post the respondent no. 4 of the said writ petition (Smti. Mupulila Imsong) to any other place where there is a vacancy and also take steps for considering the case of the petitioner for regularization of her service in the said vacancy caused by the demise of Jakjemmenba, Chowkidar and it was directed to complete the process within a period of 3 (three) months from the date of the judgement and order in the writ petition. 4. The ground for seeking extension for the present interlocutory application is that at present there is no vacancy available for posting the sole respondent in terms of the said direction of this Court, but, that subsequently, vacancy is likely to arise on 28.02.2026, and, therefore, this interlocutory application filed in the year 2024, sought extension for 1 (one) year, to comply with the order. 5. As the instant matter comes up today of adjudication, it is Page No.# 4/4 pointed out by the learned Government Advocate that since only 5 (five) months remain till the indicated date i.e., 28.02.2026, therefore, the extension of approximately 5 (five) months would suffice for complying with the direction of this Court. 6. Also heard the learned counsel for the sole respondent who fairly submits that she has no objection to the prayer of the State respondents. 7. Accordingly, allowing this interlocutory application, the applicants are hereby allowed an extension of approximately 5 and 1/2 months i.e., till 15.03.2026, to implement the direction of this Court in terms of the order dated 07.03.2025 passed in WP(C)/6/2023. 8.
