Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has challenged Order No. U-11011/21/2024 dated 26.07.2024, whereby, he had been ordered to be detained under Section 3(1) of the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988, by the orders of the Joint Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, (PITNDPS UNIT) and that this order has out lived its life, being for a maximum period of one year only and submits that appropriate orders be passed. 2. In view of the impugned order, having out lived its life, with the efflux of time, this petition has been rendered infructuous. Thus, the instant petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous along with all connected application(s). 4.
