The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 20 of 2023, for the offence registered under Sections 120(B), 147, 148 & 149 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-A), 26(2), 35 of the Arms Act, 25(6) & 25(7) of the Arms Amendment Act and 17 of the C.L.A Act, pending in the court of learned A.C.J.M., Latehar. On 20.01.2023 at about 8:00 p.m., Chandwa Police apprehended the co-accused persons from a place near Malhan Kekrahi Road and on search, firearms were recovered from the possession of co-accused persons. It was submitted that petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that co-accused persons, who were apprehended at the spot, have been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Latehar, in connection with Chandwa P.S.
