Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioners is taken on record. Report filed on behalf of the State is also taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioner no.2 is working is an employee of the Damodar Valley Corporation Limited under the Mejia Thermal Power Station. On 19.05.2025, anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioners including the present applicant/petitioner no.2, inter alia, on condition that the petitioners shall stay outside the jurisdiction of Gangajalghati Police Station for a period of six months except for the purpose of attending the jurisdictional Court or meeting the Investigating Officer. The petitioners have duly complied with the same, but are praying for relaxation. Particularly, in case of the petitioner no.2, her workplace is within the jurisdiction of 2 Gangajalghati Police Station. If she remains absent for any more time, it may have an adverse effect on her job. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits that the petitioners have, thus far, complied with the conditions imposed. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the condition imposed upon the petitioner no.2 for staying outside the jurisdiction of Gangajalghati Police Station for a period of six months from the date of order i.e. 19.05.2025 stands modified and waived from this date. No further order need be passed in this regard. With these observations, the connected application being CRAN 1 of 2025 is allowed. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
