The petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent NOIDA Authority to handover possession of the abadi land of the petitioners, which was exempt from acquisition, but of which, it is alleged, possession was taken while carrying out development or allot some other alternative land to the petitioners. 2. Sri Ankur Agarwal has appeared on behalf of respondent no.2. He states that the claim of the petitioner as contained in his representation dated 27.06.2024 (Annexure 3) shall be decided by the Authority within such time as may be directed by this Court. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent Development Authority to decide the representation dated 27.06.2024 by speaking order within eight weeks from the date of communication of the instant order alongwith photocopy of the representation.
