) Notice. Mr. Sikander Bhushan, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the case of the petitioners is squarely covered by the judgment passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court on 29.11.2024 in CWP No. 1638 of 2024 titled Mohit Sharma and another versus State of H.P. and others. He submits that the petitioners has already 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the Judgment?Yes
2 Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:HHC:29396 ) submitted a representation to the competent authority on 06.07.2025, a copy of which has been placed on record as Annexure P-III.
3. In this background, a prayer has been made to direct respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners in light of judgment in Mohit Sharma (supra) in a time bound manner. The prayer being innocuous is not opposed.
4. Without adverting to the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with direction to the 3rd respondent to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P-III) dated 06.07.2025 strictly in light of judgment passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in Mohit Sharma (supra), within eight weeks from today.
5. Needless to say, in case the petitioners are found similarly situated to the petitioners in Mohit Sharma (supra), they will be extended the same benefit, as has been extended to the petitioners in the aforesaid case.
6. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
