2. By way of instant petition, the petitioner has prayed for following substantial reliefs:-
“i) That respondents may Kindly be Directed to grant the similar benefit of higher stage of Pay as granted by the department in terms of the Judgment passed in CWP 1638 of 2024 titled as Mohit Sharma Vs State of HP. ii) That this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue the Writ in the nature of mandamus, order or directions directing the Respondents to regularize the services 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
of the Petitioner w.e.f. the date when the Petitioner have completed their two years' service on contract basis i.e. from the date the Regularization Policy was liberalized, along with all consequential benefits, including the benefit of Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised pay) Rules, 2022 and the petitioner be accorded the benefit of Himachal Pradesh Civil Services (Revised pay) Rules, 2022 after taking into account the services rendered by them on contract basis as having been appointed prior to 03.01.2022, as has been approved by the Cabinet on 14.10.2022. iii) That the respondents may also be directed to release the arrears of pay after fixing the pay of the petitioner at Rs 30,500 + DA+ increment. w.e.f. the date the petitioner completed two years of their respective regular service along with interest @9% per annum as well as the refix the pay of the petitioner with effect from January, 2024.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the Judgment passed by a coordinate Bench of Court in CWP No. 1638 of 2024, titled as Mohit Sharma & Anr. vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors, on 29.11.2024. He further submits that petitioner shall be satisfied in case the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner in time bound manner in light of judgment ibid. …2…
4. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of without making any comments on the merits of the case of the petitioner. It is directed that respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner in light of judgment passed by this Court in CWP No. 1638 of 2024, titled as Mohit Sharma & Anr. vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors, on 29.11.2024, within eight weeks from today by passing a speaking order. In case, the petitioner is found similarly situated as petitioners in CWP No. 1638 of 2024, titled as Mohit Sharma & Anr. vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors, on 29.11.2024, he shall also be granted the same benefits as granted to petitioners in above referred case.
5. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
