It was alleged that even when the said University claimed itself to be incorporated by the legislature of the State of Uttaranchal, yet, it was operating and increasing its operations beyond the territorial limits of Uttaranchal by running several out of state institutions and off-campuses/study centers in the State of Andhra Pradesh. 2 Learned counsel for ICFAI University makes a statement that as on date, no center whatsoever off-campuses/study centers was being operated by the ICFAI University in the territorial jurisdiction of the State of Andhra Pradesh and therefore, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive any 3. longer. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent University. 4. Be that as it may, we feel that the cause does not survive any longer. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition (PIL) is closed. No costs. 6. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
