Present Mr. Th. Khagemba, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents through video conferencing; and Mr. M. Devananda, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms. N. Jyotsana, learned counsel on behalf of the applicants. MC(WP(C)) No. 718 of 2025 is filed by the applicant for impleading as respondent No. 3 in WP(C) No. 607 of 2025 and MC(WP(C)) No. 708 of 2025 is an application for impleading the applicant as respondent No. 3 in WP(C) No. 597 of 2025, stating that the applicant will be a necessary party in disposing of the connected writ petitions. Mr. Th. Khagemba, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents, have no objection in allowing the applications for impleadment.
This Court has perused the applications and heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties. It is clear that the applicant will be a necessary party. Accordingly, the applicant is impleaded as respondent No. 3 in both the matters. Registry is directed to incorporate the same in the main cases. The applicant is permitted to file an amended memo of parties. Issue notice to the newly impleaded respondent No. 3. Ms. N. Jyotsana, learned counsel assisting Mr. M. Devananda, learned senior counsel for the newly impleaded respondent No. 3 accepts notice and prays for two weeks’ time for filing counter affidavit, if any. List the remaining cases on 14-01-2026. Earlier interim order is extended till the next date.
