SRI VENKATESWARA UNIVERSITY, Rep. by Registrar, Tirupathi, Chittoor District. ...RESPONDENT Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in not paying the retirement benefits to the petitioner though the petitioner retired from service on 31-7-1997 on attainment of age of superannuation besides not releasing full pension to the petitioner even without passing any other as illegal, unjust, arbitrary and against Statutory Provisions, dilatory and against Article 300-A of the Constitution of India and Consequently direct the respondent to pay the retirement benefits releasing of full pension to the petitioner and also the different of anticipatory pension and full pension from 1-8-1997 with interest and also compensation and costs and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2003(WPMP 14396 OF 2003 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondent to forthwith sanction full pension to the petitioner with arrears of pension from 1-8-1997 pending disposal of the above Writ Petition and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2013(WPMP 209764 OF 2013 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased Counsel for the Petitioner: 1. BUTTA VIJAYA BHASKAR ( SC FOR SRI VENKATESWARA UNIVERSITY The Court made the following order: Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the retirement benefits were already paid, as prayed by the petitioner and nothing remains for adjudication and hence prayed to close the writ petition. 2. Sri N.Ranganadha Rao, learned counsel representing learned counsel for the petitioner reported compliance and prayed to close the writ petition. 3. In view of the above submissions, as the retirement benefits were already paid to the petitioner, there remains nothing for adjudication and the writ petition is liable to be closed.
