THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:14360 WP No. 10115 of 2025 CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: "a) Issue a writ or direction to the respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and schedule property and also direct the respondents to take action against the said trespassers/miscreants/culprits as per ANNEXURE- AA. b) Issue any other writ, order or direction deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Heard Sri. Bipin Hegde, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Additional Advocate General Sri. V.G.Bhanu Prakash along with the learned Additional Government Advocate Sri.Rahul Cariappa K.S., appearing for the respondents. 3. The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner of survey numbers as described in the petition. Certain litigations have generated between the petitioner and several others which have been on since 2009 and several orders are passed - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:14360 WP No. 10115 of 2025 by the coordinate benches of this Court recognizing the rights the petitioner. The property is said to be belonging to the petitioner. The petitioner has appended certain photographs to the petition to demonstrate that overnight, the car and the shed in the property, of all been burned by miscreants or the defendants who are the parties to the suit. In that light, the crimes have also been registered against those persons, who have indulged in such acts, as narrated hereinabove. The issue now is that the petitioner has submitted a representation seeking adequate police protection from the miscreants who have burnt the shed and the car belonging to the petitioner in the property of the petitioner. 4. The learned Additional Advocate General would submit that the State has taken stalk of the situation and would necessarily give protection to the property of the petitioner in the light of the aforesaid circumstance of burning of vehicles and the shed in the said property. 5. In that light, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition with the direction to the respondent - police to protect - 5 - NC: 2025:KHC:14360 WP No. 10115 of 2025 the life and limb of the petitioner and also the property that he is in possession of, as further untoward incidents will not ensure with lack of inadequate police protection. The action shall be taken without brooking any further delay on the representations of the petitioner. 6. With the aforesaid observations, the petition stands disposed.
