By filing this Interlocutory application under Rule 8(2) of the Contempt of Courts (Gauhati High Court Rules), 1977, the applicant, who is the respondent in the connected Cont. Cas (Crl) Suo. Motu 1/2025 has prayed for leave to file his affidavit and also for grant of bail in the said proceeding. 3. Having heard the learned senior counsel and the standing counsel for this Court, both the prayer made in this Interlocutory application stands allowed. 4. The applicant is granted leave to file an affidavit in the connected contempt petition. 5. Moreover, the applicant is granted bail on condition that he would appear before the Registrar (Judicial) and submit a bond of Rs. 10,000.00 Page No.# 3/3 (Rupees Ten thousand only) and undertaking to appear on all the dates of the proceeding unless exempted specifically. 6.
