ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioner is aggrieved by the issuance of a show-cause notice dated 18.03.2025 issued by the Tahsildar. 2. In the said show-cause notice, it is contended by the Tahsildar that the Assistant Director of Land Records has submitted a report on 12.02.2025 and 15.03.2025 to the effect that the petitioner had encroached upon the pathway and the Sarkari Katte unauthorisedly in Sy.Nos.98, 99, 100 and 101 measuring 3, 15, 21 and 11 guntas respectively. The Tahsildar is therefore calling upon the petitioner as to

why action should be taken to evict him from the alleged encroachment. 3. It is not in dispute that to this show-cause notice, the petitioner has given a detailed response on
24.03.2025.
In the light of the fact that the petitioner has given a detailed response to the show- cause notice, it will be incumbent upon the Tahsildar to consider the objections raised by the petitioner and then pass an appropriate order before initiating any coercive steps against the petitioner. 4. Learned AGA submits that, as a matter of fact, enquiry is fixed to be conducted on 08.04.2025, and the petitioner may be directed to attend the enquiry. 5. In the light of the above, petitioner is directed to participate in the enquiry schedule to be conducted on 08.04.2025 and put forth his contentions before the Tahsildar. - 4 -

As already observed above, the Tahsildar shall consider the contentions raised by the petitioner and pass an appropriate order on merits and furnish a copy of the order to the petitioner to enable him to challenge it, if it is adverse to his interest. 7.
