Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that she made a representation dated 5th March, 2024, before the Assistant Engineer, West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), Chanditala Group Electric Supply, seeking removal of a meter on the ground floor of the premises situated at Dag No. 230, Khatian No. 5207, Ward No. 17, under Dankuni Municipality, Hooghly. It is the grievance of the petitioner that, till date, no steps have been taken by the said officer in response to her representation. An adjournment is prayed for on behalf of WBSEDCL. However, I find no reason to keep this writ petition pending. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Assistant Engineer, Chanditala Group Electric Supply, WBSEDCL, to consider the 2 petitioner’s representation (appearing at page 51 of the writ petition) and take necessary steps in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of this order. Accordingly, WPA 11253 of 2024 is disposed of. Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
