This Interlocutory Application has been filed by the petitioner Page No.# 3/3 in connection with COP(C)/33/2024, praying for impleadment of Shri Mohammad Ali Shihab, IAS, Commissioner and Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department as Respondent No. 5 in petition as the earlier Commissioner and Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department has been transferred. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed a Civil Original Petition (Contempt) No.33/2024 wherein willful disobedience of this Court’s order dated 27.06.2024 in WP (C) 80/2023 has been alleged. However, during the pendency of the said contempt petition, the respondent No. 2 has been transferred and Shri Mohammad Ali Shihab, IAS has been posted as new Commissioner and Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department and in view of the same, it has become necessary to implead him in the Civil Original Petition (Contempt) No.33/2024 Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant, the interlocutory application is allowed. Let the name of Shri Mohammad Ali Shihab, IAS, Commissioner and Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, Kohima be impleaded as Respondent No. 5 in COP(C)/33/2024.
