ARAVIND ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. JUSTICE N. V. ANJARIA) On the previous occasion, this court had an occasion to pass the following order on 07.04.2025, "The affidavit filed by respondent No.1-the Registrar, University of Mysore is apparently inconsistent and amounts to passing the buck on the State Government regarding payment of salary and other consequential benefits to the petitioner as directed by learned Single Judge. The petitioner asserts undisputably that no amount is paid so far. 2. Learned advocate Mr. H.C. Sanjay Kumar for learned advocate Mr. A. Madhusudhana Rao for the respondents states that the amount - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:15767-DB CCC No. 445 of 2024 comprising of the salary for two months and consequential benefits, if any, as directed by learned Single Judge in his order dated 29.11.2023, shall be paid to the petitioner on or before 16.04.2025. 2.1 If the amount is not paid as stated above, it is directed that the respondent shall bring on the next date of posting, which will be 16.04.2025 the cheque in the name of the petitioner towards the benefits as above in compliance of the directions of learned Single Judge. 3. If the amount is not paid on or before the said date or the cheque is not brought to be handed over to the petitioner on the next date of posting, respondent No.1-the Registrar, University of Mysore shall remain personally present on 16.04.2025 at 2.30 p.m. before the court to answer as to why the proceedings of contempt for non-compliance of the directions of learned Single Judge shall not be initiated against her. Stand over to 16.04.2025 at 2.30 p.m." 2. Today when the contempt proceedings came up for consideration, learned advocate Mr. K.S. Bheemaiah for the respondents has physically handed over the cheque bearing No.975434 for Rs.66,152/- towards two months' salary to learned advocate for the complainant to be further handed over to the complainant. 3.
