For a limited purpose, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing this writ petition seeking directions against the Rent Tribunal, Jhunjhunu to decide the rent eviction application No.02/2018, which is lying pending for its adjudication since last more than seven years. 2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that for one reason or another, the case is deferred and the evidence of the petitioner has not been recorded so far, as the respondents are delaying the disposal of the eviction application by filing applications. Counsel submits that under these circumstances, appropriate directions be (2 of 2) [CW-9776/2025] issued to the Tribunal to decide the pending application expeditiously, within a time frame. 3. Considering the factual aspect of the matter that the rent eviction application is pending since 2018 and more than seven years have been passed, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of the instant writ petition by issuing directions to the Tribunal to make all possible endeavours to decide the eviction application expeditiously, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two years from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.
