The petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent no.2 to decide his representation dated 25.11.2024 in respect of return of the acquired land after accepting the development fee and other charges. 2. The petitioner is claiming parity with another person of the same area and whose land has been exempted after accepting the development fee. 3. Counsel for the petitioner states that a civil suit filed by proforma respondent no. 5 against the U.P. Awas and Vikas Parishad wherein the petitioner was a proforma defendant has already been dismissed in default. 4. Sri Vivek Saran, counsel appearing on behalf of respondents no. 2 and 3 states that the representation filed by the petitioner would be decided within such time as may be directed by this Court. 5. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merit, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 to decide the representation dated 25.11.2024 by speaking order within eight weeks from the date of communication of the instant order alongwith photocopy of the representation after due notice and opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
