The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the following reliefs: “10.1 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to this case from possession of the respondents for it's kind perusal; 10.2 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a suitable writ, order or direction and quash/set-aside SMT NIRMALA RAO -2- letter/order dated 26.05.2017(Annexure P/1) issued/passed by the respondent no.2; 10.3 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a suitable writ, order or direction commanding the respondent no.1 to 3 to correct their records (records of SECL) in respect of Khasara No. 376/30, Khasara No. 376/40, Khasara No. 359/3 and Khasara No. 378/7 (which were acquired from the petitioner and from his mother and brother) situated in village Suwabhondi, Patwari Halka No.35, Rajaswa Nirikshak Mandal- Haradi Bazar, District- Korba (C.G.) by recording all above stated Khasara Numbers in sole name of the petitioner; 10.4 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a suitable writ, order or direction commanding the respondent no.1 to 3 to give proper placement to the petitioner in the list of Khatedar/land owner eligible for employment in descending order in respect of Suwabhondi Village by placing the name of the petitioner at Serial No. 38 or at any other serial number which would be found fit and proper; 10.5 The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a suitable writ, order or direction commanding the respondent no.1 to 3 to provide employment to the petitioner: and 10.6 Any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, may also be passed in favour of the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the claim of the petitioner for employment in lieu of land acquisition has been referred to the respondents by the Competent Committee vide letter dated 9.9.2024 with a direction to consider the claim of the 3 petitioner for employment. He would submit that a direction may be issued to the respondents to consider the claim afresh in light of the subsequent developments. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents would oppose the submissions made by counsel for the petitioner. 4. Heard. 5. Taking into consideration the fact that the Committee, after due consideration, referred the matter to the respondent authorities to consider the claim of the petitioner afresh, therefore, at this juncture, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for employment in lieu of land acquisition, preferably within a period of 120 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
