This permit has expired with effect from 21.10.2023, and the petitioner has filed his application for renewal on 26.09.2023. Mr. R. Lokesh, the learned counsel for the petitioner, relying upon these circumstances, submits that though the application in the prescribed form with the fee is paid, no action has been taken so far for consideration of granting renewal. Mr. Rajkumar, the learned Additional Government Advocate on instructions, submits that the application has been filed in the month of September 2023 without any follow up when the petitioner undoubtedly had to furnish the details of the vehicle and that the application would have been considered if the details of the vehicles are mentioned. Crucially, Mr. Rajkumar submits that if the petitioner files - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:17095 WP No. 11140 of 2025 the details of the vehicle in a time-bound manner, the application based on such details will be considered and the this outcome made known to the petitioner. In the light of these submissions, the following; ORDER The petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file, within four [4] weeks from today, the details of the vehicle along with a certified copy of this order with the respondent, directing the respondent to consider the same and communicate the outcome to the petitioner within the next eight [8] weeks.
