1. Heard Mr. P.D. Nair, learned counsel for the petitioner and also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. P.P. for the State.
2. In this petition under Section 483 BNSS, the accused-petitioner, namely, Shri Ananta Das, who was arrested on 11.11.2025 in connection with Sivasagar P.S. Case No. 177/2025 under Section 21(b) of NDPS Act, is

3. The charge-sheet in the case has already been submitted.
4. The allegation against the petitioner is that upon body searched of the accused person 37.96 grams of suspected heroine was recovered which was relates to intermediate quantity.
5. The investigation of the case is over, culminating in the charge-sheet and the petitioner has spent 83 days behind the bards.
6. Having regard to the same, the prayer for bail is allowed.
7. The accused-petitioner, Shri Ananta Das, shall be released on bail of Rs.50,000/-(Rupees Fifty Thousand) with two local sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of learned Court below in connection with the aforesaid case.
8. It s further provided that the petitioner shall regularly participate in the trial if one commences and shall not try to intimidate or influences the witnesses in any manner.
9. The bail petition is disposed of accordingly.
