S/i B.Zawhana, R/o New Laty, Siaha District VERSUS Sh Rajesh Kumar Singh and 5 Ors. The Secretary, Ministry of Defence, (Border Roads Development Board), Room No.416, Sena Bhavan B Wingh, New Deli-110011 Advocate for the Petitioner : Ms Dinari T Azyu Advocate for the Respondent : Addl. AG/GA, Mizoram B E F O R E HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV KUMAR SHARMA ORDER 16.10.2025 Heard the learned counsel for the applicants. This application has been submitted seeking impleadment of the new incumbent to the post of Secretary, Land Revenue & Settlement Department, Government of Mizoram, Sh. Vanlalmawia. On perusal of the I.A, it is seen that it has only been stated that the Page No.# 2/2 previous incumbent, i.e., respondent No. 3 has been transferred and the present incumbent has been posted in his place. However, nowhere has it been stated that the copy of the order of this Court which is required to be implemented has been served upon the new imcumbent, whose impleadment has been sought. Hence, there does not appears to be a reason as to why the new imcumbent should be impleaded in the present contempt case where there is no allegation of the willful or deliberate violation of this Court’s order on the part of the new imcumbent. Accordingly, the prayer for impleadment is rejected. I.A. stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
