ORDER; The petitioner is challenging the registration of a crime vide FIR NO.07/RCA-TCT/2023, dated 19.05.2023, on the file of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Tirupati Range, Tirupati District, for the offence under Section 13(1)(b) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is facing allegations relating to disproportionate assets and states that the petitioner has already submitted the necessary explanations regarding the assets found in the name of the petitioner and his family members on earlier occasions. However the police have not yet filed the charge sheet and have now issued a notice dated 12.06.2025, calling upon the petitioner to explain the value of the alleged disproportionate assets found in his possession as on
22.05.2023. It is submitted that the petitioner has already forwarded all the required details, but continues to be troubled by repeated notices from the respondents. Learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent submits
3. that the investigation is still pending, and as part of the investigation process, the petitioner was issued the said notice to
explain the assets acquired during the check period from 22.05.1992 to 22.05.2023.
4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent-State; and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent. Considering the submissions, it is left open to the petitioner to once again submit the details previously provided, along with any other relevant information as may be required for the purpose of the investigation. The respondents shall duly consider the explanation submitted by the petitioner and shall endeavour to file the final report/charge sheet as expeditiously as possible, preferablywithin a period of three (3) months.

6. With the above observations, this Criminal Petition is
disposed off. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
