JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR ORDER 22.09.2025 Heard Mr. Lalrokunga Pautu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Linda L. Fambawl, learned Government Advocate for sole respondent. The allegation in this contempt petition was regarding the deliberate and willful non compliance of the order dated 01.05.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.(Crl.) No. 2/2024 by which the sole respondent was required to decide the claim of the petitioner for encashment of unutilized earned leave and also to pass a necessary Page No.# 2/2 order considering the case of the petitioner for the grant of compassionate allowance in terms of the observation made in the order dated 01.05.2025. Today from the show cause notice/reply filed by the sole respondents, it is seen that the order dated 01.05.2025 passed by this court has been compiled by the sole respondent by passing the O.M No. C.18012/4/2025-SSW-DPAR, dated 01/07/2025. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said order has been complied with as passed by this Court. In such view of the matter, no further adjudication in the case is required and accordingly, the contempt petition be closed on compliance. The petitioner shall however be at liberty to assail the order dated 01.05.2025, if so advised. The contempt petition stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
