The writ petition has been filed praying for quashing the F.I.R. dated 24.1.2025 registered as Case Crime No.15 of 2025 under Sections 3/5A/8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Section 3/25 of Arms Act at Police Station - Ratanpuri, District- Muzaffar Nagar. 3. Petitioner has been implicated for committing the offence under U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act. Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were not arrested on the spot and no recovery has been made from them. 4. Learned AGA has vehemently opposed the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. For the reasons given in the order dated 10.7.2024 passed in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No.7463 of 2024 (Shobit Nehra and another vs. State of UP and others), this writ petition is disposed of directing that till the cognizance is taken on the police report under Section 193(3)B.N.S.S. by the Court below, the respondents are restrained from arresting the petitioners pursuant to the impugned First Information Report, subject to their cooperation in the ongoing investigation.
