Rokhum, learned counsel for the petitioners who submits that by filing this writ petition, the petitioners have challenged the Notification dated 20.08.2024 (Annexure-8) by which the Village Council Executive Body of Borkalak has been placed under suspension for a period of three (3) months by the respondents authorities. The learned counsel submits that the period of three (3) months has lapsed and that the petitioners have now been allowed to function in terms of their appointment. He therefore submits that the writ petition has become infructuous. None appears for the respondent Nos. 1 to 7 despite notice. However, Ms. Page No.# 3/3 Caroline K. Lungawpuii, learned Govt. Advocate appears for the respondent No. 9. She submits that she agrees to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
