This is an application filed under Section 151 CPC for disbursement of the interest from the deposited 50% awarded amount of Rs. 12,76,500/-, which was deposited in the Registry on 22.03.2024. It is submitted by the learned counsel that since there was no specific direction given regarding the disbursement of Page No.# 2/2 the interest amount arising out of the deposited amount of Rs. 12,76,500/- in the judgment of this court dated 03.07.2025 in IA(Civil) No. 94/2025, the learned counsel submits that the interest amount to the deposited amount may also be allowed to be disbursed to the applicant/claimant. Ms. Sarah Lalvensangi, learned counsel for the respondent Insurance Company submits that they have no objection to the instant IA. In view of the above, the Registry to disburse the interest amount arising out of the awarded amount of Rs. 12,76,500/- which was deposited in the Registry on 22.03.2024 to the applicant/claimant after due verification.
