Page 3 of 5 SRS,J W.P.No.16265 of 2024 The Court made the following: :: ORDER :: The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondent No.2 in issuing Lookout Circular (LOC) against the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard Sri J. Sarath Chandra, learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. Umadevi, learned Standing Counsel, appeared for respondents 1 & 2 and Sri Ajay, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appeared for respondents 3 to 5. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a criminal case was registered against the petitioner and others in Cr.No.946 of 2022 of Penamuluru PS. Later, the issue was settled and the said crime was quashed by order dated 20.08.2024 in Crl.P.No.5511 of 2024. The copy of the order is placed before this Court. 4. Sri Ajay, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, submitted the instructions of Sub-Inspector of Police, Penamuluru PS dated 15.03.2025. As seen from the instructions, the Sub-Inspector of Police addressed a letter to the Joint Director, Immigration Branch (B), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi vide letter in C.No.207/LOC/C2/2023, dated 17.08.2024, to take necessary steps to cancel the LOC. In response, by letter dated 22.08.2024, the Bureau of Immigration authorities informed about the deletion of LOC against the petitioner. 5. Thus, as seen from the instructions, the LOC issued against the petitioner has been deleted. Hence, no further adjudication is required in the writ petition. Page 4 of 5 SRS,J W.P.No.16265 of 2024 6. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
