Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “It is, therefore, prayed that after calling for the record of both the Courts below, the petition may be allowed and the impugned Order Annexure P-6 may be ordered to be set aside and quashed and application under Order 39 Rules 1 and 2 of the Code of Civil 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:27012 Procedure filed by plaintiffs respondents Annexure P-3 may be ordered to be dismissed by restoring Order dated 08.01.2018 passed by Trial Court Annexure P-5. The cost of the petition may also be awarded in favour of defendant No.1- petitioner against plaintiffs- respondents.” 2. Perusal of record demonstrates that when this case was taken up on 24.02.2020, record of the learned Courts below were called for. 3. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the learned Appellate Court, in terms whereof, learned Appellate Court has been pleased to direct the parties to maintain status quo qua the nature and possession of the suit land till the disposal of the main suit. 4. Taking into consideration the fact that this order is continuing since 27.09.2019 and thereafter, the record of the learned Courts below were called by this Court, this petition is disposed of with the direction that a serious endeavour shall be made by learned Court below to dispose of the main suit itself, on or before 31.03.2026. Till the disposal of the suit, the parties shall maintain status quo. Parties through counsel are directed 3 2025:HHC:27012 to appear before the learned Trial Court on 25.08.2025. Registry is directed to forthwith send back the record file to the learned Trial Court. 5. The petition is disposed of, in above-said terms.
