[2] At the outset, the learned Sr. counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the Commissioner, Higher and Technical Education, Government of Manipur to consider the representations dated 21.04.2025, 02.05.2025, 05.05.2025, 13.05.2025 & 14.05.2025 (at Annexure-A/4 Series) on its own merit and strictly in terms of applicable rules and disposed of the same by issuing a speaking order within a stipulated period. Monomala, learned GA appearing for the respondent fairly submitted that as the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner is confined to consideration and disposal of the representation submitted by them, she has no objection in disposing of this writ petition as prayed for by the learned Sr. counsel. [4] Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court is of the consider view that it will be in the interest of justice to issue the following directions; (i) The Commissioner, Higher & Technical Education, Government of Manipur is hereby directed to consider the representations dated 21.04.2025, 02.05.2025, 05.05.2025, 13.05.2025 & 14.05.2025 (at Annexure-A/4 Series) submitted by 36 petitioners on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable rules and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order. Page 3 (ii) The whole exercise should be completed within five months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. (iii) It is made clear that the said direction has been issued without touching on the merit of the present writ petition. [4] With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
