GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 21317 of 2020 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order, or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS, declaring the action of the Respondent Nos.3 and 4 herein in interfering with the possession and civil rights of the Petitioner herein with respect of the house bearing Door No.311-A1 an extent of 132.88 sq.yards at Ravindra Nagar, Kadapa City as illegal arbitrary, unconstitutional and violation of Article 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent Nos.3 and 4 herein not to interfere with the possession and enjoyment of the Petitioner of his house bearing Door No.311-A1 an extent of 132.88 sq.yards at Ravindra Nagar, Kadapa City and pass…” 2. The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent-Police not to call the petitioner to the Police Station and also not to interfere with the possession and civil rights of the petitioner over the subject property. 3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents, on written instructions would submit that the matter in the present petition is purely civil in nature and the respondent-Police are not interfering into the civil disputes between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents herein. 4. Recording the same, the Writ petition is disposed of. However, the Police are directed not to interfere into the civil disputes between both the parties without following due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
