Prabakaran For R2 to R4 ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned orders made in Lr.No.3400/E1/2024, dated 17.12.2024 and the consequential order made in Lr.No.3400/E1/2024 dated 18.12.2024 passed by the first respondent and quash the same and consequently, direct the first respondent not to interfere with the conduct of the Annual General Body Meeting and the affairs of the petitioner-organization on the basis on the complaints made by respondent Nos.2 to 4. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a registered society under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, having https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 39612 of 2024 Regn. No.114/1960. The petitioner-organization was established in the year 1956. However, a rival group lodged a complaint before the District Registrar alleging that the petitioner-organization is running a chit fund unauthorisedly. Entertaining the said complaint, the District Registrar passed an order dated 18.12.2024 directed the petitioner-organization not to conduct any Annual General Body Meeting until the enquiry initiated under Section 36 of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, is concluded. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that subsequent to the impugned order, a final order has been passed on 26.02.2025 by the District Registrar. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present Writ Petition. 4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
