2025:JHHC:12298 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A.B.A. No. 5309 of 2024 Sanjoy Hembrom son of Khudiram Hembrom, resident of village Borio (Ashkandha) P.O and P.S. Maheshpur, District-Pakur, Jharkhand. ..Petitioner(s). Versus The State of Jharkhand .… Opp. Party(s). ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Ms. Lalit Yadav, Advocate. For the State : A.P.P. …..... 07/24.04.2025 This is an application filed by the petitioner praying for grant of anticipatory bail in terms of Sections 482 and 484 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, as the petitioner has been allegedly implicated in a criminal case registered under Section(s) 376/504 and 506 IPC in connection with Mahalpari P.S. Case No. 127 of 2024, pending in the court of learned SDJM, Pakur. Heard learned counsel for the parties at length and had gone through the documents, annexed along with this application. During course of argument, it is fairly submitted by the parties that chargesheet has been submitted against the petitioner and cognizance has also been taken. It is further submitted that the case has already been committed to the Court of Sessions. Opportunity was given to the State to oppose the bail, which the State availed and opposed but admitted that charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner and cognizance has been taken. Both the parties submit that the petitioner is not an absconder. Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Court concerned and furnish his bail bond(s). Accordingly, this application stands disposed of. Anu/-C.P.-3 (ANANDA SEN, J.)
