The case of the petitioner is that the house site was allotted in the name of the petitioner's father-in-law on 07.07.1970. At that time, the extent of property was mentioned as 1½ cents (0.0063 hectares). The petitioner made a representation on 24.09.2025 to respondents seeking rectification of the extent of the property. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of grievance expressed by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 24.09.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
