By the present Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking directions towards the respondents to grant proper compensation in respect of land bearing Khasra No. 130/1 (area 144 sq. meter) in terms of the policy of Chhattisgarh Apsi Sahmati Se Bhumi Kray Niti, 2016. 2. By referring to the covering memo submitted by the counsel for the petitioner, he would submit that after filing of the present writ petition, the Respondent/State Authority has submitted a proposal dated 20/12/2024, which clearly shows that the land of the petitioner has been acquired for the construction of the road. He would submit that the petitioner is ready to accept the proposal dated 20/12/2024 passed by the Respondents’ Authorities. 3. Learned counsel for the State would submit that as the proposal has been submitted by the respondents’ authorities, the compensation shall be paid to the petitioner in terms of the proposal dated 20/12/2024. 4. I have heard counsel for the parties and perused the documents 3 annexed with the petition. 5. Looking to the submissions made by both the parties and the proposal dated 20/12/2024 placed along with covering memo, it is apparent that payment of compensation is to be made to the petitioner. Therefore, it is directed that the Respondent No.2/Collector shall proceed in the matter and will ensure payment of the compensation to the petitioner in terms of the Proposal dated 20/12/2024 within a period of 4 months from today. 6.
