The said order of the learned Tribunal was suspended vide orders dated 27.9.2006 in I.A. No.1 of 2006 (W.P.M.P. No.24809 of 2006). 4. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that in view of the Proceedings dated 17.11.2000, the respondent filed appeal before the D.I.G. of Police, Eluru Range, Eluru, and the same was rejected vide Proceedings in C.No.6/Appeal/2001, dated 23.3.2001. Subsequently, the revision petition was also dismissed. Be that as it may. He submits that on 03.6.2011, the respondent was promoted as Sub- Inspector of Police and on 31.5.2018 he retired from the service on attaining the age of superannuation. 5. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication and the writ petition is, therefore, closed. No order as to costs.
