KOTESWARA RAO KAPPERA SC For Endowments The Court made the following: ORDER: The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: “... to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not extending the time scale to the petitioners in the posts held by them in the 3rd respondent temple as illegal, arbitrary, improper, unjust, violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently, direct the 3rd respondent to extend the minimum time scale in the 3rd respondent temple and grant all consequential benefits including the monetary benefits.” 2. Sri Koteswara Rao Kappera, learned Standing Counsel for Endowments appearing for respondents placed on record the letter dated 29.03.2024 of the respondent No2 enclosing the letter dated 25.03.2025 issued by the authorities of the respondent No.3-Temple and that the interim order passed by this Court on 25.04.2018 in IA No.1 of 2018 is complied with. 2 3. It is beneficial to extract the necessary portion of the letter dated 29.03.2024 issued by respondent No.2 and it reads thus: “In the circumstances reported by the Executive Officer, Sri Sripada Sri Vallabha Maha Samsthanam, Pithapuram (T&M), Kakinada District in the reference cited, permission is hereby accorded to enhance the salary from Rs.23,000/- to Rs.25,000/- in respect of Computer Operators, Annadanam Supervisor, Room Supervisor and Electrician as per rates fixed by the District Collector and to enhance the salary from Rs.13,000/- to Rs.15,000/- per month to Class-IV employees w.e.f.April, 2023. The Executive Officer, Sri Sripada Sri Vallabha Maha Samsthanam, Pithapuram (T&M), Kakinada District shall take necessary action in the matter, accordingly, as per Rules. Further, the District Endowments Officer, Endowments Department, Kakinada is directed to take necessary action on the proposal submitted by the Executive Officer, Sri Sripada Sri Vallabha Maha Samsthanam, Pithapuram (T&M) Kakinada District for approval of the property register, after enquiry as deem fit under Sec.43(10) of the Act 30/1987.” 4. Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition may be disposed of. 5. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of making the interim order passed by this Court on 25.04.2018 in IA No.1 of 2018 as absolute. No order as to costs.
