(Oral) By way of present peon filed under Arcles 226 and 227 of the Constuon of India, peoners pray for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to release the arrears of revised pension/ family pension to the peoners on account of implementaon of 6th Punjab Pay Commission alongwith interest @18% per annum in view of the judgment in CWP No.12980 of 2015, -tled as Mohinder Singh Vs. State of Punjab, decided on 25.07.2016 (Annexure P.2). Further prayer is made to direct the respondents to release all the claims of reral benefits to the peoners. 2. Learned counsel submits that the peoners had also served a legal noce dated 01.12.2024 (Annexure P.5) upon the respondents but no acon has been taken thereon so far. 3. Learned counsel also submits that the peoners will be sasfied in case the respondents are directed to take a decision on the legal noce dated 01.12.2024 (Annexure P.5) by passing a speaking order. 4.
