W.P.(MD) No.34743 of 2025 O R D E R This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue joint patta infavor of the petitioner in the property situated at Door No.1-3-23/5A, Ward No.1, Nadu theru, Pettai Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Cholavanthan Sub Circle, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2025.
2. Both parties are present and by considering their
arguments, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has right in the property and seeks issuance of joint patta based on a preliminary decree in a suit for partition. The said partition suit has been decreed.
4. The representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2025 shall be disposed of on the basis of the findings by the civil Court in accordance with the procedure laid down under the Act, on merits. The

5. Once the first respondent considers and decides about the issuance of joint patta, thereafter, the second respondent shall consider the assessment of the property tax on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from today.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
