Page No.# 2/2 By filing this application, the applicant has prayed for substitution of the petitioner by his legal representative (applicant) namely, Smti. Hmangaihzuali Sailo in the connected appeal being RFA No. 14/2024. It has been submitted that during the pendency of above appeal, the petitioner has expired on 03.02.2025 leaving behind the applicant. Therefore, the applicant being the wife of the deceased petitioner may be allowed to be substituted. Ms. Lalnunhlui, learned Government Advocate for the respondent No. 2 to 4 and Ms. Ruth Lalruatfeli, learned counsel for the respondent No.1 have no objection to the prayer for substitution as the petitioner has died during the pendency of the appeal. Having considered the submissions and the materials on record, this Court deems it appropriate to allow this application. Accordingly, the applicant, namely, Smti. Hmangaihzuali Sailo be substituted in place of the deceased petitioner. Accordingly, I.A.(C) stands disposed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
