JUSTICE NELSON SAILO O R D E R 25.08.2025 Heard Ms. Lalnunhlui, learned Government Advocate for the applicants and Ms. Rosy Manlawmsangi, learned counsel for the sole respondent. [2]. By filing this application, the applicants seeks for condonation of 686 (six hundred eighty six) days delay in filing the connected Regular First Appeal. [3]. This Court vide Order dated 01.10.2024, declined to condone the delay and dismissed the application. [4]. The applicants have, however, approached the Hon’ble Apex Court by filing Civil Appeal No. 009869 of 2025 arising out of SLP (Civil) Diary No. 2247 of 2025. [5]. The Hon’ble Apex Court vide Order dated 28.07.2025, condoned the delay subject to the deposit of the entire amount to compensation before the Registry of the Court within 4 (four) weeks. The Hon’ble Apex Court also permitted the respondent to withdraw 25% of the deposited amount while directed the remaining balance amount to be kept in a high interest bearing FDR account of a Nationalized Bank. [6]. Ms. Lalnunhlui, learned Government Advocate submits that pursuant to the Order passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court, the entire amount of compensation as directed by the Hon’ble Apex Court has been deposited to the before the Registry within the stipulated time. Page No.# 3/3 [7]. In view of above, the application for condonation of delay stands allowed in terms of the Order of the Hon’ble Apex Court dated 28.07.2025. [8]. I.A. stands disposed of.
