In the present Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the opposite parties to extend the 3rd RACP benefit to him on completion of 30 years of service by fixing his Basic Pay appropriately in terms of Scale @ Rs.9300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4800/- with effect from 01.01.2013. 2. For redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has given a representation dated 20.08.2025 to the Principal Secretary to Government Water Resources Department (CAD), Bhubaneswar/opposite party No.1 vide Annexure-2. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the State has evolved a policy decision and made a Sumitra statement before the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the pending group matters. He would instruct the opposite party No.2 to take a call on the representation given by the petitioner, as to whether, the petitioner is covered under the policy decision taken by the State Government or in any manner the petitioner is entitled to get 3rd RACP benefit or not. 4. Regard being had to the statement made by the learned State counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of with an expectation that the opposite party shall consider the grievance of the petitioner under the new regime.
