GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: ORDER: The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in not issuing appointment order to the petitioner to the post of Anganwadi worker of Ramakrishnapuram Anganwadi Centre, Code No.181, I.C.D.S. Project, Sankhavaram Project, 2 CGR, J. W.P. No.4 of 2023 Rowthulapudi Mandal, as illegal, arbitrary and consequently, to direct the respondents to issue necessary appointment order to the petitioner. 2. Heard Sri T.V.V. Koteswara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri P.L.V.S. Prasad, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Women Development and Child Welfare, appearing for the respondents. 3. Petitioner being permanent resident of Ramakrishnapuram Village, Rowthulapudi Mandal, and being qualified in Intermediate examinations, applied for the post of Anganwadi Worker in pursuance to the notification issued by the respondents under B.C.(D) category. Petitioner was called for interview on 13.08.2018 having regard to her eligibility and merit, she subsequently, came to be selected to the said post. The 3rd respondent issued Memo.No.110/A4/2018, dated 15.10.2018, publishing the list of selected candidates. At Sl.No.16 with respect to Ramakrishnapuram, Code No.181, though petitioner is mentioned to be selected, however, the result has been withheld for want of court judgment. The unofficial respondent herein filed W.P. 3 CGR, J. W.P. No.4 of 2023 No.27872 of 2018 challenging the notification and in particular reserving the said post to B.C.(D) category. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the reason for non-issuance of appointment order being pendency of W.P. No.27872 of 2018, as the same came to be dismissed, by order, dated 28.03.2025, there is no impediment for issuing appointment order. 5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, opposing the aforesaid submission, contends that petitioner has been selected as Anganwadi Worker of Ramakrishnapuram centre, as the 8th respondent challenged the notification earmarking the said post to B.C.(D) in W.P.No.27872 of 2018, the selection was made subject to outcome in the said writ petition, therefore, appointment order was not issued. 6. There is no dispute of the fact that petitioner has been selected as Anganwadi Worker, however, appointment order came to be withheld for the sole reason of pendency of W.P.No.27872 of 2018 instituted at the instance of 8th respondent. As the said writ petition is now dismissed, the respondents cannot have any objection for issuing appointment order. 4 CGR, J. W.P. No.4 of 2023 7. Therefore, the writ petition is allowed directing the respondents to issue appointment order to the petitioner for the said post of Anganwadi Worker of Ramakrishnapuram, Code No.181, in terms of Memo., dated 15.10.2018, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
