This petition is directed against the proceedings initiated by the Assistant Commissioner. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that, the proceedings have been initiated without any show cause notice and the petitioner is basically unaware as to why the proceedings have been initiated. 3. Learned AGA on the other hand submits that the proceedings initiated under Section 108K of the Karnataka Land Revenue Rules, 1966 which pertains to cancellation of the grant. 4. In the light of these submissions, the Assistant Commissioner is directed to furnish a notice to the petitioner intimating the reason for which the proceedings are taken up against the petitioner so as - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:8985 WP No. 12747 of 2024 to enable the petitioner to file his objections to the same. 5. If such a notice furnished by the Assistant Commissioner within a period of three weeks from today, the petitioner is granted three weeks time thereafter to file his objections. The proceedings shall thereafter continue as per Annexure – A and B. 6. This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 7.
