Lianhrima, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms. Ruth Lalruatfeli, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mrs. Mary L. Khiangte, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 and Ms. Zairemsangpuii, learned CGC Page No.# 2/2 for the respondent No. 4. Ms. Zairemsangpuii, learned CGC for the respondent No. 4 submits a letter dated 25.04.2025 issued from the office of the Headquarter, jurisdictional Border Security Force, wherein it is intimated that in compliance of this Court’s Judgment & Order dated 24.11.2023 against which the contempt petition is filed, Rs. 53,96,651/- (Rupees Fifty Three Lakhs Ninety Six Thousand Six Hundred Fifty One) only had been deposited to the Bank Account of DC, Mamit on 10.04.2025 for implementation of the said Judgment & Order of this Court. A copy of the said letter dated 25.04.2025 is kept on record. A perusal of the said letter, it appears that payment has been released to the petitioners. Mr. L.H. Lianhrima, learned senior counsel acknowledged that the petitioners have already received the said amount and submits that nothing survives for adjudication in the instant contempt petition. In view of the aforesaid development, it appears that the order of this Court dated 24.11.2023 passed in WP(C) no. 142/2023 has been duly complied.
