The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kandra P.S. Case No. 15 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 308(4) and 309(6) of the B.N.S. and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Ms. Anamika Kisku, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Seraikella. On 19.04.2025 at about 12:15 noon, the informant was attending his shop when two unknown persons came there and asked him to talk to Shrawan Kumar. Sharwan Kumar demanded Rs.10 lakhs as rangdari. From the informant. It was submitted that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in confession of Sharwan Kumar. It was further submitted that no money was handed over to the accused persons. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Ms. Anamika Kisku, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Seraikella or her successor, in connection with Kandra P.S.
