Direct the Respondents to secure and prevent any deletion or tampering of the CCTV footage recorded at Kempegowda International Airport from the moment the Petitioner's daughter, Smt. Harashavardhini Ranya Rao, disembarked from Emirates Flight Number EK566, including her passage through the aerobridge, until her exit from Kempegowda International Airport, including her search, seizure and mahazer, specifically between 4:30 pm on 03/03/2025 and 6:00 am on 04/03/2025; ii. Grant any other appropriate Order, Writ or Direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. Heard Sri. Mahesh Y.L., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Sri. K. Arvind Kamath, learned ASGI along with Sri. H. Shanthi Bhushan, learned DSGI appearing for - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:14033 WP No. 9798 of 2025 respondent Nos.1, 2, 3 and 5 and Sri. Madhu N. Rao, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4 and have perused the material on record. 3. Learned ASGI Sri. Aravind Kamath along with learned DSGI, Sri. H. Shanthi Bhushan in unison would submit that the CCTV footages that is necessary for the purpose of investigation today is available and if a direction is issued at the hands of this Court, it would be preserved. 4. In that light, the CCTV footage between 4.30 p.m. on 3.3.2025 and 6.00 a.m. on 4.3.2025 shall be preserved for the purpose of completion of investigation and if it would become necessary for the trial at a later point in time.
