G P FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondent No.3 in calling the petitioner to Police Scanned with Cam Scanner 7 Station frequently without there being any crime registered him and in interfering with the civil liberties of petitioner, as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction and violative of Art 14 of Constitution of India and to consequently direct the Respondent No. 3 not to interfere with the civil liberties of petitioner and not to call him to Police Station without there being any crime registered against him and not to interfere with the cable operator business being run by petitioner award costs.” 2 2. None appeared for the Petitioner. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the Police are not calling the Petitioner to the Police Station. 4. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to call the Petitioner to the Police Station, in the absence of any crime registered against him. There shall be no order as to costs.
