Government Pleader O R D E R This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 02.12.2022 and 31.03.2023 seeking to disburse the compensation amounts to him for acquisition of his lands in survey nos. 33/1B measuring 35 ares, 33/2B measuring 5 ares, 7/1B measuring 12 cents in total 110.05 cents at Pampatti, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District in Chennampatty Canal Project under Vaipar Basin Scheme. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. 3. Seeking to disburse the compensation for the acquisition of lands of the petitioner, the petitioner submitted a representation to the 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD)No.27719 of 2023 official respondents. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. 4. Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the official respondents, submits that the representation of the petitioner's would be considered by the respondents 1 and 2 within a time stipulated by this Court. 5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2022 by conducting enquiry and pass appropriate orders for disbursing the compensation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
