The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 209/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 275, 276 & 317(5) of the B.N.S. 2023 and Sections 47(a), 52(D) & 55 of the Jharkhand Excise Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. 3. On 04.07.2025, Gumla Police, on the basis of confidential information intercepted a truck bearing registration no. UP25CT-2916 from Khora Patratoli and seized 1020 cartons of beer. 4. It was submitted that petitioner happens to be khalasi of the seized truck. It was further submitted that petitioner had no role in transportation of illegal beer to Bihar. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with Gumla P.S.
